Maybe we could get some made from Rubber for the Convertibles lol! .[/quote]

Or just get the type used in house windows and cut it to size. You can get 'em in metal or plastic and you could have it either up or down even when the tops up Laughing

Hi 63FTB
Ok here's where we're at, I've just spoken with Bill (65birdman) in South Australia and he's taking his car to the blind manufacturer also in S.A. soon to have the first Blind and Template made for the 64 - 66.

Chris Ozzy390 is also in S.A and has also offered his 62 for the first blind & Template to be made. now whether the 62 and 63 are the same rear window i dont know, i'm sure one of our members can tell us, If they are and you want one we've got 4 x required so far for 61 - 62 at the moment. Price is unknown at this stage i'm ringing the manufacturer to talk pricing Tomorrow. so I'll be posting it up here. Watch this space. Cheers Dave

Hi Tbirdjerry,
Stay tuned mate should have more info shortly. I reckon we'll be able to export these Blinds to the States if the interest here is any indication. cheers Dave

Hi Dave,

My car is a '61 by the way.

'61 to '63 models have the same glass all around. '64 to '66 models have the same glass which is different to '61-'63. Hope that makes sense Very Happy

I should be able to get my car to the 'blind guy' in the next couple of of weeks. I will get in touch with Bill (hopefully I will see him this Saturday) and get the contact details.

Looks like he will forever be known as the blind man ha ha

Dave I get the feeling he needs to the see the window to price it. From memory and I could be wrong the 64 it's a fairly straight window where as the 61-63 is curved at the ends and I think the more curve it has especially at the end the more expensive it will be from what the 'blind man' told me

Hi Ozzy & Aussie
That's confusing Very Happy

Ozzy Sorry mate I thought it was a 62, and yes your explanation makes perfect sense. I'm glad 61 - 63 are the same makes it real easy now. we can cater for everyone, I'm not sure when Bill is going down but I don't think anyone is desperate so next couple of weeks should work out beautifully.

If you want a set of these Venetians guys start saving.

Aussie I think you're right about the pricing, I'll put it to him anyway so we have an idea but I'm sure it will depend on the amount of labour involved.
