Sunday 12th May.........Change of Venue for Sunday Breakfast

Hi guys
This is the last thing I wanted to have to do, unfortunately our Sunday Breakfast Venue is about to change.

This afternoon I rang the Cafe we've been using in Mt Waverley to confirm next Sunday the 10th (Yeah I know It's Mothers Day but the Breakfast must go on) anyway I got a very unexpected response from the Lady saying that they've had complaints about us from the Newsagent and another shop saying we are taking up all the parking spots, and blocking up the footpath she then said there is no room this Sunday we are almost fully booked, Well It is Mothers day I guess so maybe they are, her comment was you'll have to go somewhere else, OK well that's fine, the attitude at this cafe leaves a lot to be desired and this is not the first run in I've had with this crowd they wont accept bill splitting and have said in the past If you dont like it go somewhere else. whenever I ring up to cofirm we are coming on Sunday the rsponse is you must give us exact numbers, Well it's all getting too hard dealing with these snobs so we are moving to a new venue

BP Eastlink Super Store on Eastlink, outbound from the City towards Frankston.

The complex is between Ferntree Gully Rd and Wellington Rd. access available from Eastlink or from Ferntree Gully Rd, via Dalmore Drive so you can avoid the tolls. Come and Join us for a McCafe Coffee, Macca’s Breakfast or just to talk cars. Make some new friends, and see some cool cars you may not have seen before, the car parking area is Huge. By the way as Sunday is Mothers Day It will be Lady's Day so feel free to bring along your Partner, Wife, Girl Friend or Mum if you want. I suggested it to my wife her response was It's Mothers Day I'm sleeping in.

Yeah you're right Arthur, they've been a bit difficult since day one, more worried about thier Yuppy Sunday morning clientelle.
Not to worry we would have outgrown it fairly soon anyway.

Gio away for less than a week and you have already rough up the cafe owner.

Yeah I can't help myself, I just like a fight.

That's a shame but if they can't appreciate the pleasure of having some awesome old steel adorning their car park then they don't deserve it haha

So we have been screwed over????

Well it's amazing how business' dont want your money nowdays!!!! It's there loss, NO Money & NO classic cars as Longroof indicated.

The BP down on Eastlink is a great open venue & easy to get to also.

Anyway, have a great breakfast - see you all next month.

Yeah it sucks that we have to change but life goes on, we'll keep moving onward and upward. as you say Gio, thier loss, no sweet looking Classics Muscle & Rods to look at.
