Lots of you guys on here will know Scruff (Daniel) a great bloke TBird owner and regular visitor to this and our Thunderbird forum.

A couple of weeks ago a few of us planned a cruise down to Queenscliff on the Sunday Morning. Scruff was to be at my place at 9am, at 8am Scruffs wife Lee sent me a text to say he'd had an accident on his Bike (Pushie) and was in Hospital with concussion he was on an early morning ride which he would regularly do, apparently the front wheel went out on some slippery road surface (possibly diesel or oil) and Scruff face planted the road, 8 fractures to his face 1 broken thumb and the other thumb with a damaged ligament, so both hands in plaster with only part of the fingers exposed,

Latest news the broken thumb is not knitting back as was hoped so this Wednesday his specialists will meet to discuss how to fix the problem. he's off work for the next 3 months with some fairly intense Physio ahead, He's looking pretty good and staying very positive, always able to see the funny side, but he's in a fair bit of pain and facing a long 3 months ahead  so I hope you guys will join me in wishing him all the best and a speedy recovery.  Get well soon Mate.
