64 TBird on Texas Car Wars

Just watched a new show on Foxtel called Texas car wars, 4 mechanical shops only 3 x Lots up for Auction so 1 shop misses out , the other 3 buy a car each from a wreckers Auction, 1 Bought a Nissan what we call a Pathfinder 4wd enough said on that one.

Another paid $800 for a package of 3 x 57 Fairlanes, They built one car from it Came up real nice ended up owing them 4,000 they sold it for $10k.

The third crew bought a 64 TBird pretty down paid way too much in a bidding war, $4100 was a cream colour pretty rough painted it silver with a black roof new black trim stock wheels and Airbags, not sure why you'd paint it up like Grandads car put stock wheels on it then Bag it, looked stupid going down the road back was 3" higher than stock owed them $8500 sold it for $12500.

Sounds like a good Show to watch, what day, time and channel is ot on Dave, would love to catch a show.

Thanks for the heads up Dave - Just searched foxtel and its on again today (wed)at 530 on discovery 634 - or 2 hours later on the second discovery channel
