hello all
has anybodys car suffered a cracked axle housing where the tube is welded to diff housing

Hi Kev,
The only time l have seen broken/cracked diff housings is on Hilux & Landcruiser vehicles when they are used in the mining sector or extreme 4x4.
Hopefully it's not your car

taken the complete diff and housing out the side with crack the axle tube is bent ?

Just curious , are your rear air bags synchronised ? (i.e. equal pressure in each )

airbags are mounted on leaf spring and underneath sub frame no pressure on diff taken it to diff shop looks like two new axle tubes to be fitted the diff is bent down towards the ground I will keep you posted

the out come is getting housing straighten and welded the problem put down to old age and fatigue

Shit that's unreal Kev, I thought a 9" would last forever, especially in a Cruiser.
Just goes to show you then hey. Another thing I need to check. Was there any vibration at all ???.
Have they stripped it already or can you still get a phone Pic.
