Not a Classic....YET!!!!!!
The NEW Aussie Mustang gets released to Australia Tonight at 11pm it wont hit the showrooms until 2015 but here's a pic.
It will be a V8 obviously but it will also be a 2.3 litre turbo 4 cyl that makes 235kw. WTF of well 235kw is pretty healthy
The release is on You Tube Tonight at 11pm and it will be a right hooker
It starts at $45k

That's only because in 2005 when this body style Mustang was released chevrolet then Mopar decided to do retro look models of the Camaro and Challenger, Amazing how they all look very similar.

They are all similar but very different, each one takes it's styling cues from the most popular models of the original.
e.g. the Mustang styling is taken from the '67/8 models. Camaro from the '69 models and the Dodge Challenger from the '70 models.
The big challenge for the teams doing the styling on these cars is to continue the same theme with the next model and I think Ford have done a pretty good job. Remember back in the mid seventies when they completely runined Mustang by giving it the contempory styling of the day, likewise Thunderbird?
GM have given the Camaro a few tweaks for the new model year and Chrysler are sticking with what they have, because it's still working for them.
I've had a few as rentals, both coupe and convert and the base grade Mustangs are really no more exciting to drive than a Camry.
It's only when they get the big engines and expensive drive train options that they becime really special. It'll be interesting to see how the local prss treat them.
