Just intro-ing myself. I am known as Johnno and have a nice 67 Mustang Coupe. Am member # 1 of Let's Go Cruisin' and also a member of The Mustang Owners Club of Australia (Victoria). Formerly lived in Narre Warren but now down here in Longford ( Sale) Gippsland.
I get to quite a few runs in the big smoke but love coming home to relax away from big city life. Very Happy

Hi Johnno
great to have you on board mate, I've followed your posts on the Mustang Forum as i jump on there regularly, Got a real soft spot for Mustangs went out to buy one originally but there wasn't much in my price range that i liked so found the TBird and as they say the rest is History.
An old Narre boy hey, I live in Narre, plenty of Petrol Heads in this area. It's amazing how many Classics & Customs you see on weekdays now. infact yesterday morning on the monash car park i saw a Black Cuda, a 66 Muzzy and a 68 camaro. there's also a 73 Camaro i see most nights going home from work, I guess when you consider Club Rego just H plates are over 20,000 now there are plenty of them out there.
look forward to meeting up at some point. Dave

Hello Johnno, I have seen your nice mustang around the shows and you always keep it in top condition. Number 1 at LGC, that's something special, you are 618 ahead of me.

Thanks guys. Nice to get a welcome like that. Yep I love the 60's Yankee stuff and have turned a 3 bay garage into a tribute for my 67 Coupe with heaps of memorabilia, signs, bar, games area etc. If you come down this way I'd be happy to show it to you. Had a 65 Coupe here in my other garage as well, until a few weeks ago, when it went back to Melbourne. Got a mate around the corner with a nearly completed RED 67 Convertible. Another buddy just over in Traralgon has a hot 68 Coupe. Plenty of tough cars down here to see. The Mafffra Shed is really something worth seeing too. They change the theme of the display cars every 4 months. See the attachment http://www.gippslandvehiclecollection.org.au/

Cheers, Johnno. Wink

Plenty of pubs either in Sale or Maffra or even Traralgon. Doc Doherty is the contact at The Gippsland Vehicle Collection/Maffra Shed. They have BBQ facilities there too. It really is worth a visit. Quite a big place too.

Very Nice,
My brother in law's got a sweet Yellow 65 Fastback. It's a very nice car but I prefer the Coupe not sure why I just think the coupe is the iconic Mustang shape.
