Cruden Farm Car Show
Hi All,
What a day!
Today was the Jets first Car Show as a club. With a beautiful start to the day we gathered at the Shell Petrol Station down at Dandenong – Hastings Road.
As we entered Cruden Farm the weather turned and clouded over with the occasional light rain shower and this was the day .
We parked, set up the marquee, tea & coffee, chairs and went off to admired all the different cars that arrived.
These ranged from Minis, MGs, Rolls Royces, Mustangs, Jensons, Jeeps, Valiants, Holdens, E Types a bit of American Muscle, a lovely flock of Fairbirds and one little Messerschmitt.
Thanks to everyone who attended and supporting the first outing of Jets.
Also a big welcome & THANKS to Geoff & his wife Denise and Brett who also attended, hope to see you all at the next Jets outing.
Hers a few photos of the day.
For more photos of the day, check out the 'Jets Car Club' Facebook page .
Catch you all at the next event.

Yeah the diversity was amazing John, also present were FX~FJ Holden Club, Mustang Club, Mini Club, MG Club, Rolls Royce club and of course Jets Car Club.
Great show and beautifull setting. very disorganised tho. the driveway was about 1 km long and at 11am it was still full of cars waiting to enter and the organisers were in panic mode not knowing where to put them all the main area where we had set up was already full there were cars everywhere it was a great site. thank God we went early.

Seeing it was $25 entry for an adult ( if I recall correctly ) were there many people coming in for a look or was it all the car people walking around? Were there any trophies ?

Re: Cruden Farm Car Show
Ah no i dont think there were Trophies
Yeah it was $25 to walk thru the gates. I belive a component of that was the Open Gardens scheme. apparently this place opens twice a year to the public to walk thru the Gardens and the Car Show is an added extra, Not sure how much of the $25 goes to mental health research. They charged $15 for a display car with 2 occupants. I really dont think there were a lot of Gen Public in there it was mainly car guys wandering around. Still it was a great day apart from the weather.

That's why car shows need to be visible to passing traffic.
