Berwick Breaky ~ April

Hi All,

With a crisp autumn morning and not a cloud in the sky, it was time to get BING out !

A quick call to Dave and before you know it we were pulling into the carpark of the Berwick shopping village.

As we pulled in we were greeted by 4 beautiful bright Ford Hot Roads next to them a lovely and my fravorite model Fairlane.

We got there a bit after 8:00and there was already 12+ cars there.

What a morning beautiful for a cruise only problem was it was too short,

some really nice cars, but i think our Breaky is a lot friendlier, most of the guys there were a bit standoffish (Is that a word) any way they kept to themselves,

It was amazing tho caught up with a mate I havent seen for 30 Years believe it or not he's got the same car he had back in the mid 70's a Black FC Holden with a 350 Chev, Alan built this car in the seventy's and it's still going strong Today.

Some may remeber it from the Vic Hot Rod Show over several years, it was in every car mag of the era, and won a host of Trophy's over the years. It's showing It's age a little still has the red velour interior It's amazing for a car that was done 40+ years ago. And it's got a very healthy Tunnel rammed 350 under the lid.

Bummer I missed it, would have been nice to catch up with Mr Hale.

My FJ was done as it sits now about the same time Alan's FC was completed.

He's going to join up here Carps. I'm looking to get some of the other guys I used to hang with way back then to join up as well. problem is tracking them down. Most of them are probbably in Barwon Prison.

small world dave I brought the chrome super t10 out of the fc years ago for the coupe but it was stolen while at the chassis shop .haven't seen alan for years
