Post  1963-FTB on Mon Feb 04, 2013 1:37 pm

A while ago I had seen on YouTube a video of a 1961 T-bird with a Flashing Park Brake light, it appears to be a an original piece form that time, what I would like to know, and I have tried EBAY but no as yet Barry, if these are still available to buy if is so who knows of them and where to buy from. to understand what i am talking about check out the below link right at the 1.35 minute mark.

Not the same takes all the originality away from it, will find it but may take awhile.

I haven't had mine running for a while but I'm sure it flashed if the car was being driven and the handbrake hadn't been released- that is on a 62 landau but that car wasn't moving .... Maybe something to do with the roof being operated so the driver didn't drive off????

That wouldn't be a 'door ajar' warning light ?

Platon,

Great work !

Is there a switch the links into the ignition/park brake that illuminates when engaged & turns off when released

So now its the holder that your requiring or did all Bullet Birds have this feature?

all Bullet birds come out with the (as they call it) Blinking Emergency Brake Light, also the 64-66 have them as well but are used for the Door ajar blinking light
