Hi Guys
Gio and I have been talking and as the Forum will be 1 year old in March we were thinking a Classic Car Picnic one Sunday
(Date TBA) Venue would be Maroondah Dam, Great venue.

I reckon we'd open this to all Classic Cars after all it's a Birthday party for a 1 year old (hhhhhmmmmmm Red Cordial),
the more the merrier.

Maybe we can attract a sponsor to supply us Meat bread etc, for a Barby.

We'll work on a date and then put out a flyer asking who can attend to get a rough idea for food.
Maybe we could even invite some other Ford Clubs Fairlane, Galaxie etc, The 7 Pistons guys might like to join in.

Would be a great day for pics, beautifull setting, and only stones throw from Melbourne.

Hi Kev,

Sounds like a good idea, but no offence to your first thought of location, but what was wrong with Jells Park, it was a good venue where we could all see our cars, the Gazebo was awesome and had lots of grassed areas, anyway that’s my choice, given the fact that I now have to travel from the house of 7 in Melton getting to Maroondah Damn would mean I would need 2 tanks of fuel each way, and at least 3 cut lunch’s, not forgetting the toilet stops along the way....

Yeah good point, The only thing was that since we'd done Jells Park recently Sept 2012 and some felt the place was a bit scruffy and the main reason, we've been looking for an excuse to go to Maroondah dam.

We dont want to have people say no I'm not going because of the distance,
But yeah we do need to consider distance for the members out west. as Michael says you do almost need a passport & visa. Thanks for saying something Platon, It's much easier when we know how people feel about our ideas.

Another option would be the Park in Heidelberg, Banksia Park Everyone please let us know what you think.
