Yeah not sure I'd wanna be wide open heading down a long straight to a tight corner after 10 laps, just praying she'd pull up and turn in. but as Tony says good on them. Car looks pretty cool too.

Good pickup MMIII,
Hadn't even noticed that, I'd say she's a 65 going by the roof badges.
Probably a little panel banging goes on so he uses what he can get hold of i'm guessing

I didn't now there was any difference in fenders for a 64-65 they both use the same fender indicators and have the same ridge ontop of the cars but the 66 is more flat there. I've seen guys put 64 tail lights on a 65 just because they love the bird symbol across their tail lights.
Very hard to pick out what year it is when a 65 has thunderbird lettering on the bonnet also.

Hi Nick
64 - 65 differences cosmetic
Yep front guards are different 64 doesn't have the recess for the side feathers just has the name Thunderbird,
Different badges on the sides of the roof panel,
64 has Thunderbird across the bonett, 65 has Logo.
Tailights of course, plus 65 has sequential turn signals,
Middle of the rear bar 64 has Thunderbird 65 has Logo same as bonett. Cant think of any other cosmetic differences.
